These are traditional Sámi drums that are used by Sámi shamans to communicate with the spirit world. The nation states, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Russia, who have colonized the Sámi area have for centuries tried to eradicate the Sámi shamanism. They have burned both our drums and shamans. The church and the state worked together in a planned and very sinister way, this was of course nothing else than a part of the larger plan to steal our land. They did not succeed, we the Sámi people and the drums are still here.
